Brooklyn Nine-Nine has released another new trailer for its upcoming final and “most ambitious” season, which will premiere August 12 on NBC. The cop comedy wrapped production on its eighth and final season in June.
Given everything that has happened in our real world since the previous season–including in the policing world–these final 10 episodes should be poignant, tackle some issues, and of course somehow manage to still be funny. While we don’t really know much about the plotlines ahead, we do know that the writers had four episodes written for the final season and then threw them all out amid the political unrest in the US specifically focused around police.
